22Red was created to pay homage to the number 22, taking inspiration from Shavo’s affinity for numerology and synesthesia. Many major events in Shavo’s life revolve around the number 22 and it’s said this number possesses the energies of your biggest dreams. Shavo is commercially known for his work as the bassist for the Grammy award-winning heavy metal group System of a Down. While the group has sold 10s of millions of records, Shavo has also played in various other bands, collaborated with Wu-Tang Clan, and taken his creative endeavors to the cannabis space with 22Red. Today we talk about Shavo's journey into legal cannabis, history with the plant, and future plans for 22Red.
